Furnish & Install MAU Units for the PCAE

Background
The Office of State Procurement, on behalf of the Perpich Center for Arts Education (PCAE), is seeking proposals for the furnishing and installation of three (3) Daikin Make-up Air (MUA) units (or approved equal) on the rooftop of their facility located at 6125 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

The goal of this contract is to improve the air quality and climate control within the PCAE facility by replacing outdated equipment.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Furnishing and installing three (3) Daikin Make-up Air (MUA) units or approved equivalents.
- Removing and disposing of three (3) existing MUA units and three (3) A/C condensing units.
- Final repair and patching of the rooftop where existing A/C units were affixed.
- Disconnecting utilities currently in use and ensuring proper utility hook-ups upon installation of new MUA units.
- Covering all associated costs for equipment, removal, disconnections, reconnections, and any necessary crane or hoist rentals.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is from February 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Perpich Center for Arts Education located at 6125 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on January 6, 2026. They must also pre-register by January 5, 2026. Bidders are required to provide proof of insurance as detailed in Exhibit B: Insurance Requirements. Additionally, responses exceeding $50,000 must include a surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total response amount.
