COMPUTER CABLING AND ACCESSORIES (Data center)

Background
The State of Minnesota, through the Department of Administration, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure Computer Cabling and Accessories specifically for Data Center and related applications.

The goal is to furnish these materials to State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members. This initiative aligns with the state's commitment to diversity and inclusion in public procurement, aiming to engage businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Work Details
The contract will require the provision of various computer cabling and data center equipment including but not limited to:
- bulk cable
- fiber and copper patch cords
- data center cabinets
- power distribution units (PDUs)
- patch panels
- SFP transceivers
- testing equipment for low voltage and fiber.

The RFP specifies that it is for materials only; no labor is required. Responders may propose approved equals and submit pricing for multiple manufacturers as part of their response.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on January 1, 2026, and continue through December 31, 2026. There is an option to extend the contract for up to an additional 48 months based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Minnesota, specifically serving State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture members.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Minnesota's commitment to diversity and inclusion. The RFP encourages participation from certified targeted group (TG), economically disadvantaged (ED), and veteran-owned businesses. Bidders must also ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including business registration requirements.
