Cambridge State Hospital Snowplowing

Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Direct Care and Treatment agency, is seeking snow plowing services for the Cambridge State Hospital located at 1425 E Rum River South, Cambridge, MN. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe access to the hospital during winter months by providing timely snow removal services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide snowplowing services after each two-inch snow event during the winter season from October 2025 through April 2026. This includes approximately 3,250 lineal feet of roadway and eight driveways measuring approximately 50 feet long by 14 feet wide.

The contractor must furnish all necessary transportation, equipment, fuel, labor, tools, supplies, and any other resources required to complete the work. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for repairing any excessive damage caused to sod and grass as determined by the State project supervisor and for any damage to road surfaces, structures, or utility lines.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from October 2025 to April 2026, with an option for extension up to one additional year as determined by the State.

The services will be performed at Cambridge State Hospital located at 1425 E Rum River South, Cambridge, MN.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the SWIFT Supplier Portal. The solicitation encourages participation from Minnesota-based small businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, or individuals with substantial physical disabilities. Bidders must comply with insurance requirements outlined in Exhibit B and provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to commencing work.
