Background
The City of Minneapolis is issuing a Call for Bids for prospective suppliers to furnish and deliver Ductile Iron Gravity Sewer Pipe for Public Works (PW) - Sewer Maintenance.

Work Details
The contract requires the successful contractor to supply Ductile Iron Gravity Sewer Pipe, specifically Iron Class CL52 Slip on joints pipes that meet ASTM A746 standards.
The contractor must maintain an adequate supply of regular diameter pipe, fittings, and specialty items locally, ensuring delivery or city pick-up can occur within one hour.
The quantities specified are estimates only and do not obligate the City to purchase any minimum amount.
All materials must be new and of the best quality intended for their purpose.
The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with delivery, including fuel and handling charges.
The contract also includes provisions for inspections of supplied materials, which will be subject to testing by the Engineer upon delivery.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is from January 9, 2025, to January 9, 2026, with options for renewal for two additional 12-month periods if agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the City of Minneapolis limits.
