BID-MPRB Mississippi River Gorge Trail Improvement

Background
The City of Minneapolis is issuing a Call for Bids for the Mississippi River Gorge Trail Improvements project, aimed at enhancing the trail facilities for the Park Board. This project is funded through a Federal Grant, which is essential for improving public access and recreational opportunities in the area.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Mississippi River Gorge Trail Improvements. Specific tasks include:

1) Total Base Bid as calculated in the GREEN cell on the Bid Form, which includes parts 1, 2, and 5;

2) Alternate 1 - ADD: Part 3, Horace W.S. Cleveland Overlook, Segment 1 Trail Construction;

3) Alternate 2 - ADD: Part 4, Horace W.S. Cleveland Overlook, Segment 2 Trail Construction per the project specifications and construction documents.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after bid acceptance and must be completed by September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at the Mississippi River Gorge area in Minneapolis, MN.
