Applied Technology Program Tool Kits

Background
Minnesota State Community and Technical College is seeking proposals for Applied Technology Program Tool Kits to support various applied technology programs. The college aims to equip students with the necessary tools for their education and future careers in fields such as Diesel Technology, Automotive Services Technology, Power Sports, Plumbing, Electrical Line Worker, HVAC, and Electrical Technology.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide tool kits for the following programs:

- Diesel Technology (15 kits)
- Automotive Services Technology (20 kits)
- Power Sports (10 first-year and 10 second-year kits)
- Plumbing (15 kits)
- Electrical Line Worker (40 kits including climbing gear and fall protection)
- HVAC (20 kits for Moorhead and 15 for Wadena)
- Electrical Technology (30 kits each for Moorhead and Wadena)

Each proposal must include unit prices, estimated delivery dates, brand names, models of tools or approved equivalents. Vendors must also provide in-person demonstrations, on-campus fittings for size-dependent equipment, follow-up support before purchase, and complete in-person deliveries. Proposals should detail return policies (minimum 60 days), warranty coverage, itemized pricing including bulk discounts, delivery timelines, and customer service contact information.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on April 28, 2025, with a duration of two years and an option to extend for three additional years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Minnesota State Community and Technical College campuses located in Moorhead and Wadena.
