2026 and 2027 MHSATS Leadership Conference

Background
The Minnesota Department of Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2026 and 2027 MHSATS Leadership Conference. The purpose of this solicitation is to award a contract to a contractor who can provide the necessary services for these conferences, which are expected to host approximately 170 attendees each year.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for organizing the MHSATS Leadership Conferences scheduled for November 4-5, 2026, and November 3-4, 2027. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a clean and well-maintained facility located within Crow Wing County, Minnesota.
- Accommodating approximately 170 attendees (note that this number is an estimate and not guaranteed).
- Arranging lodging rooms and meals as required during the conference dates.
- Ensuring that all services meet the specifications outlined in Exhibit C of the Sample Contract.
- Submitting a detailed cost proposal as per Attachment C: Cost Detail.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to begin on May 1, 2026, and conclude on November 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The conference will take place in Crow Wing County, Minnesota.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure their venue is located within Crow Wing County. Additionally, they are encouraged to propose tasks or activities that could enhance the conference outcomes. The State reserves the right to reject any proposals that do not comply with mandatory requirements outlined in the RFP.
