Westwood/Braun/Plante Moran - Exterior Door Replacement

Background
The Westwood Community School District, located in Dearborn Heights, MI, is initiating a district-wide Exterior Door Replacement project. This project aims to enhance the security and functionality of the school facilities by replacing existing exterior doors. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is available on the State of Michigan’s SIGMA VSS site.

Work Details
The contract involves the replacement of exterior doors across various locations within the Westwood Community School District. Specific tasks include:
- Conducting a site visit to assess current door conditions.
- Providing detailed proposals for door specifications.
- Executing the installation of new exterior doors.

All bids must include a completed bid form, familial disclosure, criminal affidavit, and Iran disclosure statement forms. Additionally, bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond or certified check based on the total cost of work. Payment and Performance bonds are not required for subcontractors as Braun Construction Group will provide these bonds.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon award and extends through the completion of the door replacement project. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on April 10th, 2025.
