Background
The Vicksburg Community Schools (VCS) is undertaking the Districtwide Access Control Project as part of the VCS 2020 Bond Projects. The goal of this project is to enhance security measures across the district's facilities. The project is managed by Frederick Construction, Inc., with architectural services provided by Tower Pinkster.

Work Details
The contract involves the installation of access control systems throughout the Vicksburg Community Schools district. Specific tasks include:
- Installation of electronic access control devices at various entry points.
- Integration of access control systems with existing security infrastructure.
- Provision of necessary hardware and software for system operation.
- Compliance with all relevant safety and security standards as outlined in the bid documents.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be pre-qualified by Frederick Construction, Inc. prior to contract award. A bid bond or certified check of not less than 5% of the bid amount is required with each bid submission. Additionally, all proposals must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships with members of the Board of Education or the Superintendent.
