Taylor HS/Athletics Weight Room Flooring

Background
The Taylor School District, a public school district in Michigan, is seeking bids for the installation of weight room flooring at Taylor High School. The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified companies that have a successful track record of providing goods and services to public entities, particularly school districts.

Work Details
The project involves the provision and installation of 4000 square feet of interlocking weight room tiles at Taylor High School, located at 11211 Beech Daly, Taylor, MI 48180. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, professional development, and equipment necessary for the complete installation.

Additionally, the contractor must provide warranties and project closeout reports upon completion. The bid must include costs associated with delivery and installation of the flooring.

The contract is expected to be completed by April 16, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of Workers’ Compensation Insurance and may need to furnish a Bid Bond or certified check for construction bids exceeding $23,417. For bids over $50,000, a Performance Bond and Labor Materials Payment Bond at 100% of the accepted bid amount are required.

Bidders must also submit notarized certifications regarding familial relationships and compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. All proposals must include signed copies of specified forms (Appendices A-E) and comply with local ordinances and laws.
