Stadium Sidewalk, Drainage, and Shot Put Area Improvements

Background
Corunna Public Schools is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to enhance the Nick Annese Athletic Stadium in Corunna, Michigan. The goal of this project is to improve drainage, pedestrian accessibility, and athletic facilities. The District emphasizes the need for contractors with proven experience in concrete construction, drainage improvements, site grading, and athletic facility projects.

Work Details
The project includes:

- Removal of existing asphalt sidewalk;
- Replacement of stone/crushed asphalt on the fence line with concrete;
- Installation of a new ADA-compliant concrete sidewalk;
- Removal of obsolete scoreboard foundations;
- Site grading and restoration;
- Shot put area improvements; and
- Drainage improvements including the installation of a catch basin and drain line.

Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Specific tasks include:

1) Sidewalk removal;
2) New concrete sidewalk installation with ADA compliance;
3) Scoreboard foundation removal;
4) Grading and topsoil installation;
5) Turf restoration with grass seed application;
6) Shot put area improvements including installation of a new concrete pad;
7) Catch basin installation; and
8) Drain line installation connecting to curb drain along Kingsley Street.

All work must comply with OSHA requirements and maintain a safe work environment.

Period of Performance
The project completion date is set for August 1, 2026, or alternatively August 1, 2027, with separate bids accepted for both timelines.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Nick Annese Athletic Stadium located in Corunna, Michigan.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must demonstrate experience in relevant construction areas. Bidders are required to provide necessary insurance certificates upon request and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws.
