Snow Plowing Service

Background
The Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District (ISD) is seeking proposals for snow plowing services to ensure safe access to its facilities during winter months. The district's mission includes providing quality educational services, and maintaining clear access to its buildings is crucial for the safety of students and staff.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the requirements for qualified vendors to provide snow removal services at multiple locations within the district.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for snow plowing services at the following locations:
1. Bay-Arenac Educational Service Center - 4228 Two Mile Rd., Bay City, MI 48706
2. Bay Arenac Career Center - 4155 Monitor Rd., Bay City, MI 48706
3. Bay Arenac Bus Garage - 2905 Bay Arenac Dr., Bay City, MI 48706
4. Bay Arenac Conference Center - 2939 Bay-Arenac Dr., Bay City, MI 48706
5. Bay-Arenac LLC - Bay Campus - 1435 W. Center Rd., Essexville, MI 48732

Key service requirements include:
- Snowplowing/removal when snowfall exceeds 2 inches.
- Completion deadlines for snow removal per building as specified in the proposal page.
- Stacking of excess snow only in designated areas; the district will handle removal of piled snow.
- Vendor must ensure all repairs or damages caused by their equipment are addressed.
- Services may also be provided in emergencies as mutually agreed upon.
- Full or partially plowed lots will be compensated on an hourly basis, which includes labor and equipment costs.

Period of Performance
The contract will span three years, beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations in Bay City and Essexville, Michigan.
