Shiawassee RESD Maintenance Facility

Background
The Shiawassee Regional Educational Service District (RESD) is seeking to construct a maintenance facility at 2261 S. M-52, Owosso, MI 48867. The building will be a storage facility for the RESD. The construction drawings include various plans such as site plan, foundation plan, floor plan, exterior elevations, wall section details, HVAC notes, plumbing plan, power plan, lighting plan, electrical specifications, and heating plan.
The building will be subject to Michigan Building Code 2015 Edition and other relevant codes and regulations.

Work Details
The work includes the construction of a new 60' x 60' pole barn-style maintenance facility. The building area is 3,600 square feet with an allowable area of 5,500 square feet. The occupancy load is 13 occupants with a maximum common path of egress travel of 100'. The construction type is 5-B (unprotected). Fire protection will include fire extinguishers located per code and no fire suppression system.
The building will have a utility/miscellaneous use group.
