Description

Shawnee Ballpark Phase #2
Background
The Shawnee Road Ballfields Phase II project is initiated by Berrien Springs Public Schools, located in Berrien Springs, MI. The project aims to enhance the facilities for the school district, focusing on the construction of new athletic fields and a maintenance building.

The overall goal is to provide improved recreational spaces for students and the community.

Work Details
The contract includes the following work:
- Construct a new 40’ x 60’ pole building for maintenance equipment storage.
- Perform civil earthwork necessary for site preparation.
- Construct two ball fields and a soccer field as indicated in the project drawings.
- Install fencing around the fields.
- Build dugouts for player use.
- Implement an irrigation system for maintaining the fields.
- Complete seeding of the fields as specified.

Period of Performance
Work is scheduled to commence no later than September 2024, with all material procurement to be completed by the start of work.

The project must be 100% complete by May 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Shawnee Road Ballfields, located adjacent to and behind the Oronoko Township Public Safety building in Berrien Springs, MI.
