Rfp: Ore Creek Middle School Walk-In Cooler/Freezer

Background
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) from responsible parties to Foodservice Equipment at ORE CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL on behalf of HARTLAND CONSOLIDATED SCHOOLS. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals as it deems to be in the best interest of the School District. The project overview includes an anticipated schedule for the selection process, with the contract award expected no later than June 17, 2024.

Work Details
The project involves the installation of a WALK-IN COOLER/FREEZER at Ore Creek Middle School. The specifications include a two-compartment walk-in with overall exterior dimensions of 7’-9” X 14’-5.5” X 8'-0” high, and specific interior dimensions for both freezer and cooler compartments. The project also includes removal of existing walk-in panels and refrigeration, providing dumpsters on site during delivery for disposal of packaging materials, coordinating with different trades on timing of equipment delivery, confirming all utilities locations prior to release of equipment to factory, and more.

The installation must occur during a non-student period and must be scheduled with the owner before work can commence.

Period of Performance
The installation is expected to be completed by August 7, 2024. If installation cannot be completed prior to this date, the project must be scheduled during a non-student period.
