RFP for 2 Passenger Vans- 8-10 Passengers

Background
The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of two passenger vans to support their transportation needs. The goal of this contract is to acquire vehicles that can accommodate passengers, including those with mobility challenges, thereby enhancing the district's transportation capabilities.

Work Details
The RFP specifies the procurement of two (2) 8-10 passenger vans. One van must include a mounted wheelchair station and a rear wheelchair lift. Detailed specifications include:
- Power Door Locks
- Power Windows
- Power Steering
- Air Conditioning
- 6 Cylinder Engine
- Average mileage at or above 22 MPG
- Anti-Lock Brakes
- Automatic Transmission
- 10 Passenger Seating Capacity including the driver
- AM/FM radio
- Review Camera

Additional options priced separately include:
- Floor Mounted Wheelchair station with retractable lap shoulder belt and tie downs
- Braun Millennium 800-1000 lb. usable platform Commercial use lift
- All wheel drive option if available.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the vehicles is expected to occur no earlier than July 1, 2026, and no later than September 25, 2026.

Place of Performance
The vehicles will be delivered to the Montcalm Area Intermediate School District located at 1401 E. Van Denise Avenue, Greenville, MI 48838.

Bidder Requirements
Only automobile dealerships may respond to this RFP. Bidders must ensure that their proposals are submitted by the deadline of March 27, 2026, at 12 p.m. Additionally, bidders are responsible for all costs incurred in preparing their proposals.
