Background
The County of Jackson, Michigan, is seeking proposals for the construction of a public dog park at Vandercook Lake County Park. This initiative aims to enhance recreational opportunities for residents and visitors by providing a dedicated space for dog owners and their pets. The project is part of Jackson County's commitment to improving community facilities and promoting outdoor activities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the excavation and construction of a public dog park that includes:

- Two fenced-in dog paddock areas (1.6 acres and 0.4 acres).
- An aggregate walk path leading to a lakefront.
- A concrete entry plaza with a drinking fountain.

Specific tasks include:

- Excavation and grading of the site, including minor grading and sand fill work.
- Installation of approximately 1,100 square feet of concrete with appropriate finishing.
- Installation of a one-inch municipal water line (approximately 300 linear feet) including excavation, tap fees, and fountain installation (fountain provided by Jackson County).
- Construction of an aggregate walkway (approximately 540 square feet) with weed barrier fabric and crushed limestone aggregate.
- Installation of approximately 1,710 linear feet of four-foot black wire mesh fencing with self-closing gates and maintenance access gates.
