Request for Bid-Pine Ridge Elementary 2025 Roofing Project

Background
Forest Hills Public Schools, located at 620 Forest Hills Ave SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking qualified contractors for the Pine Ridge Elementary 2025 Roofing Project. The goal of this contract is to engage a General Contractor responsible for coordinating all required work among various trades involved in the roofing project.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete roofing project at Pine Ridge Elementary. This includes all necessary materials and labor to ensure the successful installation of a new roof.

The contractor must also provide Bid Security amounting to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and include costs for Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the project value. Bidders are required to submit a sworn statement regarding familial relationships with Board members and an Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.

Period of Performance
The anticipated schedule for this project includes bids due on January 15, 2025, with an expected award date of February 10, 2025. Construction is anticipated to start on June 6, 2025, and substantial completion is expected by August 1, 2025.
