Request for Bid-24.01 Asbestos Abatement Prior to Renovation

Background
Forest Hills Public Schools has authorized the Administration to solicit bids for Bid No. 24.01 – Asbestos Abatement Prior to 2024 Renovations for Forest Hills Public Schools. The project will be completed in June and July 2024, prior to building renovation activities and will include the removal and disposal of various asbestos-containing materials from planned renovation areas at Ada Vista Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary, and Central Middle School.

Work Details
The project involves the removal and disposal of asbestos pipe fitting insulation on fiberglass lines, non-asbestos carpet, asbestos floor tile, asbestos floor tile mastic, acoustical ceiling tile with asbestos glue pods, windows with asbestos glazing, vermiculite wall insulation, and light health shields from the specified school locations.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to be completed in June and July 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Ada Vista Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary, and Central Middle School.
