Professional Development Training

Background
The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the Human Resources department, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional development and skill-building training services.
The goal is to enhance the competencies of City employees in alignment with organizational objectives and current business trends.
The selected vendor will support a blended learning approach that includes live virtual, in-person, and online training options.

Work Details
The contractor will deliver a variety of professional development courses focusing on core business skills, management, leadership development, and HR competencies.
Specific requirements include:
- A blended learning approach incorporating digital, virtual, online, and in-person formats.
- Courses for various levels: new, intermediate, and advanced.
- Provision of necessary training materials included in the contract cost.
- Certificates of completion for participants who meet training requirements.
- Private training sessions at designated City locations as needed.
- Enrollment management for all sessions with participant details provided by the City.
- Development of certification programs for specific job roles adhering to HR Certification Institute (HRCI) standards.
- Access to technical webinars with a self-enrollment process.
- Establishment of an online tracking portal for managing training metrics and completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for three years from the date of award, with potential renewal options subject to approval by the Detroit City Council.

Place of Performance
Training services will be conducted at various locations designated by the City of Detroit or virtually as required.
