Background
Ferris State University (FSU) is a mid-sized public university established in 1884, known for its diverse academic programs and commitment to providing quality education. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to identify vendors capable of delivering a unified Point-Of-Sale (POS) system for the Campus Store, enhancing retail operations across multiple locations and integrating online sales.

Work Details
The RFI outlines specific requirements for the POS system, including:
- Modern POS functionality for multiple physical store locations.
- Fully integrated online store capabilities for Campus Store merchandise.
- Built-in loyalty program with customer enrollment and email capture features.
- Support for various tender types, including a Student Charge program that posts to student accounts and campus card tenders (Bulldog Bucks and Dining Dollars).
- Comprehensive inventory management across all locations with mobile handheld support.
- Robust reporting and analytics covering sales, inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), gift card activity, and daily tender reporting.
- Compliance with hosting, security, and payment processing standards.

Period of Performance
The anticipated implementation schedule aims for the solution to be operational by Fall 2026, with book and merchandise sales starting in mid-July 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Ferris State University's main campus in Big Rapids, Michigan, as well as potentially at its 20+ statewide locations.

Bidder Requirements
