PMC Project I-75, Concrete Repairs-M57-Sag Co Line

Background
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking proposals for concrete pavement repairs and crack sealing along I-75 between M-57 and the Saginaw County Line in Genesee County. This Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 250000001817 aims to ensure the maintenance and safety of the roadway, which is crucial for transportation in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to perform concrete pavement repairs and crack sealing. Specific tasks include:

1. Removing and repairing portions of concrete pavement, one lane wide and 100 feet long or less, using non-reinforced portland cement concrete with the required joint type.
2. Resawing and sealing existing pavement joints.
3. Sawing, cleaning, and sealing cracks in concrete pavements.
4. The existing pavement is approximately 11 inches thick. The bid for pavement patch repairs will be by square yard and will encompass all associated items such as saw cutting, pavement removal, CP Joints, Crg joints, Erg Joints, Lane Ties, and P1 concrete.
5. All work must comply with MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction.
6. The contractor must maintain traffic throughout the project as per MDOT standards.

Period of Performance
The contract activities must be completed by June 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along I-75 between M-57 and the Saginaw County Line in Genesee County, Michigan.
