Background
Chippewa Valley Schools, located in Clinton Township, MI, is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed Plumbing Contractors to provide on-call plumbing maintenance and repair services. The goal of this contract is to establish a partnership that enhances the services provided to the District's buildings. The District reserves the right to purchase these services from other sources at any time.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for plumbing-related work as requested by the District. Services include maintenance and repairs of domestic water systems, fixtures, water lines and fittings, valves, circulating pumps, hot water tanks/heaters, restroom and kitchen plumbing, floor drains, sanitary piping (excluding municipal-level excavation), backflow preventers, drain cleaning, and connections for water-consuming appliances.

Emergency service must be available 24/7 with a one-hour response time. The pricing covers labor only; materials will be billed at actual cost plus an approved markup. RPZ testing and related backflow prevention services are optional but must comply with applicable regulations.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will commence in April 2026 and run through June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed annually for up to three additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Chippewa Valley Schools' facilities in Clinton Township, MI.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess necessary licenses and certifications including ASSE certification for backflow prevention testing. They should have been in business full-time for at least five years and have experience in educational or institutional settings. Bidders must also submit required affidavits including Iran Linked Business Disclosure, Familial Disclosure, Compliance with School Safety legislation, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Debarred Disclosure.
