Work Details
The contractor will be required to provide the following items:

- Must be unlined and coated with rust inhibitor.
- Must be UN rated for transporting hazardous materials.

2. **Steel Lug Covers**
- Must be compatible with the provided 3.5-gallon pail.
- Must be constructed of 24 gauge steel, unlined, and coated with rust inhibitor.

3. **16-ounce Metal Tins with Lids**
- Must be seamless deep style slip cover can and lid.
- Must be constructed of tin-plated steel.
- Reference: Uline S-23423SIL.
The contractor must also provide warranties against defects in design, materials, and workmanship, along with a process for reporting warranty issues. Additionally, the contractor must notify MDOT immediately of any recall notices related to the supplied items.
Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin on March 15, 2026, and will last until March 14, 2029. There may be options for renewal for up to two additional one-year periods at the discretion of the State.
Place of Performance
The delivery locations will include various MDOT facilities throughout Michigan as specified in Schedule C – MDOT Delivery Locations.
