Notice of Intent to Award for Snow & Lawn RFP# 250000002008

Background
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Procurement Office has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) 250000002008 to select a Contractor for snow and grounds maintenance services at lower peninsula DMVA properties.
The goal of this contract is to ensure effective snow removal and lawn care at various armories over a period of five years, with the possibility of two one-year renewal options.

The awarded contractors will provide snow and lawn services at multiple locations including:

- Jackson West Armory
- Taylor Armory
- Olympia Armory
- Howell Armory
- Ypsilanti Armory
- Waterford Armory
- Wyoming Armory
- Belmont Armory
- Greenville Armory
- Big Rapids Armory
- Montague Armory
- Jackson Armory
- Traverse City Armory
- Bay City Armory
- Midland Armory
- Saginaw Armory
- Detroit Light Guard Armory
- Alma Armory
- Albion Armory
- Lapeer Armory
- Pontiac Armory.

Specific services include regular lawn maintenance, spring/fall cleanup, snow removal for varying depths (2-6 inches, 6-12 inches, 12+ inches), and vegetation control. The total amounts awarded to contractors are as follows:

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations across the Lower Peninsula of Michigan including multiple armories such as Grand Ledge Complex and Kalamazoo Armory.
