MAM Software and Services

Background
The University of Michigan seeks proposals from qualified suppliers for Media Asset Management (MAM) Software and Services. The university's mission is to serve the people of Michigan and the world through excellence in knowledge creation, communication, and application. The contract aims to establish a scalable and sustainable enterprise solution for managing media throughout its lifecycle across its three campuses: Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint, as well as Michigan Medicine.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the procurement of both product and implementation services for MAM needs. Key solution priorities include:
- Robust access control and multi-tenancy
- Flexibility and scalability
- Seamless integration with existing systems
- Media production support
- Coordinated storage and management
- Efficient search and discovery
- Automations and AI capabilities.

Implementation services desired include stakeholder engagement, governance establishment, phased implementation starting with a pilot involving three organizations (Center for Academic Innovation, School of Public Health, Ross School of Business), network policy implementation, operational recommendations, ongoing user training, system administration, and maintenance.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to last for three years with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across the University of Michigan campuses located in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine.

Bidder Requirements
Suppliers must comply with the University’s standard agreement terms without extensive changes. They may also need to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) if awarded a contract for services that involve access to HIPAA information.
