Kistler & Piezo sensors & grout

Background
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 250000000582 to procure Kistler Lineas quartz sensors, Roadtrax Piezoelectric sensors, and grouts necessary for the installation of these sensors in roadway pavements.

The goal of this contract is to enhance traffic monitoring capabilities through the deployment of advanced sensor technology.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing the following products:
- Kistler Lineas quartz sensors
- Roadtrax Piezoelectric sensors
- Grouts suitable for installing the aforementioned sensors in roadway pavements.

Additionally, bidders must demonstrate that they are certified authorized distributors of Kistler Instruments and provide documentation supporting this requirement. Proposals must include a completed Schedule A - Statement of Work and Schedule B - Pricing.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract begin date is expected to commence shortly after the proposal deadline on January 6, 2025. The duration of the contract will be determined upon award.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed within the State of Michigan, specifically at locations designated by MDOT for sensor installation.
