Healthcare Security Operations Center- Second Issuance

Background
The University of Michigan is seeking proposals for a qualified supplier to provide outsourced monitoring and reporting of security events that could threaten Michigan Medicine.

The mission of the University is to serve the people of Michigan and the world through excellence in creating, communicating, preserving, and applying knowledge, art, and academic values.

Michigan Medicine is one of the largest hospitals in Michigan and a premier academic medical center, which includes the U-M Health System, University of Michigan Medical School, and Michigan Health Corp.

Work Details
The managed security service will include:
- 24/7 security event triaging and alerting;
- incident investigation and resolution;
- event aggregation;
- analysis;
- reporting;
- ongoing customized security incident training.

The University may change or add to the scope of any agreement resulting from this RFP. Further requirements can be found in the attached Functional Requirements and Technical Standards document. The primary scope includes Michigan Medicine and its affiliates.

Period of Performance
The expected duration of the agreement is three (3) years with an option to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods as mutually agreed upon between the University and the supplier.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations associated with Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
