Hawthorn HVAC and DHW Heaters

Background
The Warren Woods Public Schools is seeking bids for the HVAC and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Heaters installation at the Hawthorn Admin Services Building. The project aims to enhance the mechanical systems within the school to ensure efficient heating and cooling operations, aligning with the district's mission to provide a conducive learning environment.

Work Details
The project includes:
1. Mechanical demolition and installation of (2) hot water boilers, (17) rooftop units (RTUs), (55) Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes, and (2) DHW heaters.
2. Installation of electrical panels, conduit, and wiring necessary for the new mechanical equipment.
3. Implementation of Building Automation/Controls for the new HVAC system.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to commence in spring 2026 and conclude in fall 2026, with a finalized schedule to be determined post-award.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Hawthorn Admin Services Building located at 12900 Frazho Road, Warren, Michigan 48088.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check, cashier's check, or Surety Bid Bond amounting to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price as a proposal guaranty. Additionally, bids must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships with members of the School Board or Superintendent of Schools and an affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
