Background
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 260000000673 for Snow Removal and Lawn Maintenance Services specifically for the Plainwell Customer Service Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facility grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, and drive entrances, are maintained in a safe condition for use by State employees and DNR customers.

Work Details
The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the following services:

1. **Snow and Ice Removal**:
- Services must be performed according to specifications and schedules agreed upon with the Program Manager.
- Snow and ice removal from parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and entrances must be completed before 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
- Deicer must be applied as needed at building entrances and sidewalks.

2. **Lawn Maintenance**:
- Maintain grounds in a clean condition throughout the mowing season (approximately 24 weeks).
- Weekly services will be scheduled by the Program Manager based on weather conditions.
- Mowing must be done to a height of three inches with proper disposal of litter before mowing. Trimming and edging around structures must also be performed.
- All equipment used must not cause damage to landscaping or structures.

Period of Performance
