Background
The County of Jackson, Michigan is seeking quotes for the installation of 3M window shatter treatments at the Jackson County Courthouse and the Northlawn Building. This initiative aims to enhance security for county employees by installing safety and security window film. The contract will also allow other municipalities in Michigan to 'piggyback' on this agreement through the Michigan Association of Counties CoPro+ program.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install 3M Scotchshield Safety & Security Window Film Ultra Prestige Series on all street level doors and windows at the Jackson County Courthouse located at 312 S. Jackson Street and the Northlawn Building located at 1697 Lansing Ave. Responsibilities include measuring windows and doors for proper installation, providing warranty information, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and completing all work by a licensed, certified, and insured installer.

The contractor must supply adequate personnel to meet project deadlines and ensure safety measures are in place during installation.

Period of Performance
The project must be completed in its entirety by November 1, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in similar services, provide five references including subcontractors, be licensed and insured, attend a mandatory site visit on July 30, 2025, and submit proof of insurance upon award.
