Architectural/Engineering Services

Background
The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is seeking proposals for professional architectural and engineering services for the design and construction support of a new Center for Virtual Learning and Digital Careers. This project aims to enhance WCCCD's capacity to serve students and the community by advancing virtual learning in various educational programs.

The Center will be located at the Mary Ellen Stempfle University Center and Center for Learning Technologies in Harper Woods, Michigan.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide a range of services including:
1. Preparation of plans, program statements, specifications, and construction documents.
2. Assistance with permit applications and meetings with building officials.
3. Construction administration including review of material submittals, construction observation, change order approvals, and preparation of meeting minutes.
4. Development of as-built drawings in AutoCAD reflecting actual field measurements upon project completion.
5. Attendance at project-related meetings such as public meetings, Board of Trustee meetings, pre-bid meetings, etc.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and continue through the completion of the project, with specific timelines to be defined during the proposal process.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place at the Mary Ellen Stempfle University Center & Center for Learning Technologies located at 19305 Vernier Road, Harper Woods, Michigan.
