AI Document Processing and Digitization RFP

Background
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 260000000345 for AI Document Processing and Digitization. The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of document processing through the implementation of AI technologies, thereby improving service delivery and operational capabilities within the State.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing AI document processing and digitization services, which include but are not limited to:
- Implementing AI tools for automated document classification, data extraction, and indexing.
- Ensuring compliance with data security requirements as outlined in Schedule E.
- Providing training and support for State personnel on the use of the implemented systems.
- Delivering a transition plan as specified in Schedule G to ensure smooth integration of services.
- Completing all deliverables as per the timelines established in the Statement of Work (Schedule A).

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is June 1, 2026, with a performance period that will be defined in the Statement of Work. Specific timelines for deliverables will be outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed within the State of Michigan, with specific locations to be determined based on project requirements.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience with AI tool implementation in similar projects. They must also provide proof of any relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional or Scrum Certification. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements as specified in Schedule C. If requesting confidentiality for any part of their proposal, bidders must submit a completed Confidential Treatment Form.
