Background
The City of Jackson is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the demolition of the building located at 800 Wildwood Ave. This project falls under the Community Development initiative aimed at improving urban spaces by removing dilapidated structures. The goal is to ensure safe and clean environments for residents while adhering to local regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Abatement of asbestos as indicated in the attached Asbestos Containing Material and Hazardous Materials Inspection Report, performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with state and federal regulations.

2. Complete demolition of all structures on-site, including residential buildings and accessory structures, with removal of footings, foundations, basement walls, and floors.

3. Removal of all debris from basements and foundation excavations.

4. Termination of existing utility services within the foundation excavation area.

5. Site restoration including grading, installation of topsoil, and seeding with climate-appropriate grass species.

6. Installation of stormwater inlet filters and coordination with local authorities for any street closures during demolition activities.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed by the deadline specified in the project timeline, with liquidated damages applied at a rate of $1,000 per calendar day for delays beyond this date.

Bidder Requirements
