Background
The State of Michigan's Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is issuing this contract to address environmental concerns related to the invasive aquatic plant hydrilla.
The goal of the contract is to perform dredging operations at specified properties in Berrien Springs, MI, to remove hydrilla and prevent its further spread.

Work Details
The contracted work involves dredging two landscape ponds located at the following addresses:
- 9613 Burgoyne Rd (Parcel # 11-15-0016-0013-05-4)
- 9581 Burgoyne Rd (Parcel # 11-15-0016-0013-09-0)
- 9519 Burgoyne Rd (Parcel # 11-15-0016-0013-10-0).
Each pond is approximately ¼ acre in size or less. The scope includes a complete dredge to fully remove all hydrilla plants, fragments, and tubers, plus an additional two feet of clean material.
Care must be taken to prevent the spread of hydrilla downstream and offsite. All work must adhere to EGLE safety standards and be performed in a thorough, workmanlike manner.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 1, 2024, until December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at three properties located on Burgoyne Road in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
