472/25082.RLO; Oaks CF - Emergency Generator

Background
The State of Michigan, through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), is seeking professional architectural and/or engineering services for a project related to the Oaks CF Emergency Generator.
The goal of this contract is to secure professional services for study, design, and construction administration as authorized by Public Act 431 of 1984, as amended.

Work Details
The Professional shall provide all necessary professional services, technical staff, and support personnel to achieve the project as described in the Project/Program Statement. Services include:
1. Attendance at all project-related meetings and conferences.
2. Field-checking and verifying the accuracy of all drawings and data provided by the Department or any other project-related source.
3. Preparation of comprehensive architectural and/or engineering studies with itemized construction cost estimates.
4. Development of a detailed Project Study, Design, and Proposed Construction Schedule.
5. Compliance with Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control regulations under Public Act 451 of 1994.
6. Participation in legislative presentations as required.
7. Preparation of various reports including study reports, program analysis reports, schematic design documents, preliminary design documents, final design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
8. Coordination with civil/site survey consultants for geotechnical investigations as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple phases including study phase, program phase, schematic design phase, preliminary design phase, and final design phase as outlined in the contract documentation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Michigan at locations designated by the State Facilities Administration.

Bidder Requirements
The Professional must comply with all applicable regulations regarding construction codes and standards set forth by the State of Michigan.
Additionally, proof of qualifications for any proposed key personnel replacements during the contract period is required.
