25-0052 Pershing High School Bid Pack 2

Background
The Pershing High School project is being managed by the Detroit Public Schools Community District. The goal of this contract is to provide construction services for the new school, specifically focusing on casework and related installations as outlined in the bid packages. The project aims to enhance educational facilities within the district.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the work as specified in the Contract Documents. This includes:

1. Furnishing and installing manufactured plastic-laminate-clad casework (Section 123216).
2. Installing plastic laminate-clad countertops (Section 1236230).
3. Installing solid surfacing countertops (Section 1236610).
4. Supplying and installing wood casework, counters, and accessories.
5. Including all millwork on Hall of Fame areas A414-415.
6. Protecting all new surfaces until project completion.
7. An allowance of $60,000 for additional casework work at the discretion of the Construction Manager, with unused funds credited to the Owner upon project completion.
8. Compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations during construction.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bid documents; however, exact dates may be adjusted by the Construction Manager due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays.

Place of Performance
The contract work will take place at Pershing High School located in Detroit, Michigan.
