2025 Calibration of CFS Lab Equipment and Scales

Background
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a vendor to provide calibration services for all laboratory equipment at the Statewide Testing Lab located at 8885 Ricks Road, Lansing 48917.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that all lab equipment is accurately calibrated and verified according to industry standards, thereby supporting MDOT's mission of maintaining safe and efficient transportation systems.

Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for calibrating all lab equipment as specified in Attachment 1 - Calibration Bid List. Services include:
- Verification of full range calibration in specified directions.
- Calibration and adjustment of devices as needed for verification purposes.
- Compliance with applicable ASTM standards (E4, D76, E74, E467) and ISO/IEC 17025 quality assurance program.
- Provision of individual reports for each piece of equipment including details such as Laboratory Name, Machine Name, Service Date, Linearity, Readability, As-Found / As-Left readings with eccentricity checks.
- Specific requirements for scales and balances to be calibrated to a readability of 0.0001g or higher with standards traceable to NIST.
- Calibration services must include Bolt Tension Calibrators (Skidmore-Wilhelm brand/model).

The vendor must complete Attachment 1 – Calibration Bid List and adhere to delivery timelines specified.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 60 business days from the receipt of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Statewide Testing Lab located at 8885 Ricks Road, Lansing 48917.
