Background
The Department of Public Safety, specifically the Maine State Police, is seeking to contract with Diverse Computing, Inc. (DCI), a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Audit and Compliance Expert. The goal of this contract is to develop, implement, and manage an audit program for both Criminal Justice and Non-Criminal Justice systems. This program aims to ensure compliance with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) CJIS policy requirements for triennial audits of all agencies that have access to criminal justice information.
Work Details
The contractor will provide services that include the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive audit program for criminal justice and non-criminal justice systems. This program aims to bring the State of Maine into compliance with FBI CJIS policy requirements. Additionally, DCI will supply Peak Performance Solutions products that have already been procured by the Maine State Police through their exclusive strategic partnership. The services provided will ensure that the audit program is effectively managed and compliant with existing regulations.

The contract is proposed to start on January 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2027.
