The Maine Health Data Organization (MHDO) is seeking specialized technical and industry expertise to support the ongoing analyses and development of the agency’s annual prescription drug pricing transparency report as required by PL 2019, Ch. 470, PL 2021, Ch. 305, and PL 2022, Chapter 606. The transparency of prescription drug pricing has been prioritized by the legislature and Governor, leading to the passage of several laws that mandate MHDO to produce annual prescription drug pricing transparency reports and collect data directly from manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and pharmacy benefit managers.
Work Details
Ten2Eleven Business Solution, LLC, based in Sacramento, CA, will provide highly specialized technical and industry expertise required to support the ongoing analyses and development of the agency’s annual prescription drug pricing transparency report. This includes developing data reporting rules and legislative reports on Prescription Drug Pricing Transparency.
The vendor will assist in the collection and analysis of prescription drug pricing data collected from payers, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and pharmacy benefit managers. Additionally, they have experience working with the Medispan database and the Canadian drug pricing file which are critical prescription drug datasets relied upon by MHDO to comply with various prescription drug pricing transparency laws.
Period of Performance
The proposed contract start date is 7/1/2024, with an end date of 6/30/2025.
