Background
The Prince George’s County Office of Procurement is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish term contracts with contractors to provide towing services for abandoned vehicles throughout the County. This solicitation is restricted to 100% County-based Small Businesses (CBSB), and each business must be certified by the Prince George’s County Supplier Development & Diversity Division (SDDD).

The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient and effective towing services for abandoned vehicles, which aligns with the County's mission to maintain public safety and order.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing towing services for abandoned vehicles throughout Prince George's County. This includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the required services. The successful bidder must meet all requirements outlined in the solicitation and will work under the direction of a County representative.

The contract may result in the award of up to ten (10) firm-fixed contracts to the lowest responsive bidders. Invoices must be submitted within thirty (30) days of service completion for review and payment.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for this contract is on or about October 1, 2024. The initial term of the agreement is two (2) years, with options to extend for three (3) additional one-year periods, totaling five (5) years, contingent upon appropriations.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout Prince George's County, Maryland.
