Water Storge Tower and Tank Pressure Washing

Background
The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom) is responsible for providing potable water distribution and wastewater collection/treatment services. Established in 1964, MetCom aims to ensure the delivery of quality water services to its customers. This solicitation seeks quotes for high-pressure water cleaning services on its water storage facilities to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, profit, overhead, and methods necessary for the exterior high-pressure water cleaning of three (3) water storage towers and one (1) standpipe. The cleaning will utilize pressure levels between 3,000 to 4,000 PSI. The specific tanks to be cleaned include:

- Country Lakes #2 Tower: 100,000-gallon elevated tank located at 3672 Dillon Drive, Mechanicsville, Maryland 20659.
- Meadow Woods Tower: 150,000-gallon elevated tank located at 36755 Bethel Church Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland 20659.
- Laurel Ridge Tower: 100,000-gallon elevated tank located at 38452 Laurel Ridge Drive, Mechanicsville, Maryland 20659.
- Paw Paw Hollow Standpipe: 200,000-gallon elevated tank located at 40975 Paw Paw Hollow Lane, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650.

Period of Performance
The contractor(s) awarded the contract will have a total of 45 days from the date of notice to proceed to complete the pressure washing for each awarded tank.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at four locations in St. Mary's County, Maryland: Mechanicsville (three locations) and Leonardtown (one location).
