W801401 - Crofton Meadow II WTP Expansion - Phase II

Background
The contract is issued by the Capital Construction (CAP) department for the expansion of the existing 15-MGD water treatment plant located on Riedel Road, Crofton Meadows, Maryland.
The goal of this contract is to increase the plant's capacity to 20-MGD nominal capacity, thereby enhancing the water treatment capabilities to meet growing demands.

Work Details
The work includes constructing new aerators, flocculation basins, sedimentation basins, filters, a thickener, and a clearwell.
Additionally, it involves upgrading the high lift pumping station, backwash holding tank and surge tank upgrades, installing generators, upgrading chemical systems, yard piping installation, dewatering activities, grading and site work, paving, and landscaping.
The contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing all necessary equipment, materials, labor, structures, site work components, piping systems, conducting test pits and testing procedures, as well as providing all accessories and appurtenances required for project completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from November 03, 2025 to January 13, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the existing water treatment plant located on Riedel Road in Crofton Meadows, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements.
