Update Hagerstown Police Department Building Fire Alarm System

Background
The Hagerstown Police Department is seeking proposals for the replacement of the current building fire alarm system at 50 North Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The City of Hagerstown is the sole entity authorized to provide this Request for Proposal (RFP) package to interested companies or individuals. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to take whatever action is in the best interest of the City of Hagerstown.

Work Details
The work involves the replacement of the current building fire alarm system at a specific location. Prospective vendors are responsible for making copies as required to satisfy their needs.
Sealed proposals will be received until a specified date and time, and only proposals from qualified and experienced contractors will be considered.
The City shall make positive efforts to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for its supplies and services and shall allow these sources the maximum feasible opportunity to compete for contracts.

Period of Performance
Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
