Tree Trimming and Removal Services

Background
Anne Arundel County is seeking bids for tree trimming and removal services, including stump removal. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and management of trees on County-owned property and right-of-ways. This aligns with the County's mission to preserve its natural resources while ensuring public safety.

Work Details
The Successful Bidder will provide competent personnel, vehicles, and equipment necessary for tree trimming, topping, and the removal of trees and stumps. Services include:
- Tree trimming and topping on County-owned property and right-of-ways.
- Removal of trees and stumps.
- Disposal of wood chips and other materials generated from these activities.

All work must be conducted in a thorough manner that minimizes damage to the trees while preserving their symmetry as much as possible.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on May 20, 2025, and will run until June 25, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the State Department of Assessments and Taxation in Maryland if not organized under Maryland law. They must provide proof of good standing prior to award. Additionally, bidders are required to maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance, Business Automobile Liability Insurance, and Workers’ Compensation Insurance with specified minimum coverage limits.
