Translation Services (IDIQ-Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity)

Background
Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is located in Maryland and serves a growing population of over 28,000 students across 38 schools and seven educational centers. The mission of CCPS is to provide quality education that builds character and prepares students for life in a safe learning environment.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks qualified firms to provide districtwide Translation Services as mandated by law, ensuring that students and families receive essential information in their native languages.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide translation services for various documents including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Code of Student Conduct, school calendars, and other materials as needed. Services include:

1. Document translation from English to source languages and vice versa.
2. Review, editing, and proofreading of previously translated documents.
3. Accurate translation that maintains the original text's spirit, style, nuances, and subject matter detail.
4. Ability to handle various file formats such as Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and files shared through the Canvas platform.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for an initial period of one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods based on performance evaluations.

Services will be performed at Charles County Public Schools located at 5980 Radio Station Road, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
