Task Order-WHS Pole Building Hillsboro Armory

Background
The project is initiated by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to design and build a pole building at the Hillsboro Armory, located at 3011 Starr Road, Queen Anne, Maryland 21657.
The goal of this contract is to provide a facility that meets the operational needs of the DNR while adhering to state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and insurance necessary for the construction of a pole building measuring 30' x 40' x 14'.
Specific requirements include:
- Site work performed by DNR Engineering and Construction.
- Construction using GreenPost post protection system.
- Installation of two 12' x 12' overhead door openings and one personnel door.
- Submission of signed/stamped design drawings by a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland.
- Restoration of the site post-construction.
- Removal of debris from state property.

The project also includes an add/alternative for two overhead doors with specific model requirements. All work must comply with applicable safety regulations and building codes.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed.

The contract will be performed at the Hillsboro Armory located at 3011 Starr Road, Queen Anne, Maryland 21657.
