Task Order- Shop and Storage Building Renovation at Wellington WMA

Background
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is issuing this solicitation for the renovation of the Shop and Storage Building at the Wellington Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

The project aims to enhance the facilities at this wildlife management area, which plays a crucial role in conservation and public recreation. This procurement has been designated specifically for Certified Small Businesses.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to complete the following tasks:
1. Remove and replace existing asphalt roof shingles on the Shop building.
2. Replace windows and entry door on the Shop building.
3. Replace gutters and downspouts on the Chemical Storage building located at 32733 Dublin Road, Princess Anne, Maryland.

The contractor must also adhere to specifications outlined in the Project Manual dated 03/13/2025.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Wellington Wildlife Management Area, located at 32733 Dublin Road, Princess Anne, Maryland, Somerset County.

Bidder Requirements
This procurement is set aside for Certified Small Businesses. Bidders must submit a Bid Response Packet including various documents such as a Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Bid Bond, Conflict of Interest Affidavit, and Payment of Employee Healthcare Expenses Certification.

Additionally, bidders must provide performance and payment bonds if their bid exceeds $100,000.
