Background
The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit submissions for providing white glove deployment services, warranty and support options, and ensuring the availability of parts and accessories for Student Chromebooks.

HCPSS is governed by the Board of Education of Howard County, serving approximately 58,000 students across 78 schools with a mission to ensure academic success and social-emotional well-being in an inclusive environment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. White glove deployment services for Student Chromebooks.
2. Warranty and support options for the devices.
3. Availability of parts and accessories related to the Chromebooks.

Additionally, vendors are asked to propose optional technology, services, and software as detailed in Section III of the RFP.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is July 1st, 2026, with an initial term of three years and three additional one-year options.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at locations designated by HCPSS within Howard County, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be registered with the Maryland Department of Assessments & Taxation (SDAT) and be in good standing. The proposal must include all required documents such as a completed price proposal signature sheet, bid affidavit, technical proposal, recent W-9, and others as specified in Section 1.5 of the RFP.

Subcontracting is not permitted without prior written consent from HCPSS.
