This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the State of Maryland ( State ): The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide plumbing maintenance, repair, and emergency services, as outlined in this IFB, at properties located in St. Mary's County. The work under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishings of all labor, materials, equipment, ladders, scaffolds, hoists, services, and any other equipment necessary to satisfactorily execute and complete the project in full compliance with the Contract requirements.
Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for On-Call Plumbing Maintenance Services in St. Mary’s County.
The goal of this contract is to procure plumbing maintenance, repair, and emergency services at various properties located within St. Mary’s County.
Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform plumbing maintenance and repair services.
This includes but is not limited to: emergency plumbing repairs, routine maintenance, installation of plumbing fixtures, and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
The contractor must furnish all necessary tools and equipment to execute the work satisfactorily.
Period of Performance
The contract will have a four-year base period starting from the effective date of the contract.
Place of Performance
The primary places of performance are located at 27345 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650 and 19644 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653.
Bidder Requirements
This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement; only certified small business vendors are eligible for award.
